Reduce Carbon Emissions

Green house gas (GHG) emissions are responsible for global warming, rising ocean temperatures, ocean acidification, polar ice cap melt, rising sea levels, extreme weather, and climate refugees.

And, with a significant drop in the use of gasoline for transportation due to the COVID19 pandemic, oil companies are doubling down on their efforts to produce plastic - to save their business at the expense of the planet and human health.

Traditional plastics are made from oil, the extraction and refinement of which are the top two and three GHG emitters in the United States alone. Our plant-based material reduces carbon emissions by 50% - 80% by eschewing the use of oil.

We've swapped out the traditional - and toxic - primary ingredient in conventional plastic (petroleum) for a more sustainable alternative. Using plants as our primary material source, we make sustainable alternatives and regeneration the focal point of the next generation of the materials economy. Compostable

Our material meets ASTM D6400 compostability standards, meaning it is compostable in industrial compost facilities and active landfills. Unlike some bio-polymers, our proprietary bio-polymer blend breaks down in active landfills - just a little slower than in an industrial setting.

Soil is a fundamental aspect of carbon sequestration, a natural carbon capturer. Our material breaks down into soil, forming a part of the regenerative economy.
